FUMC San Benito has a long history of music ministry. From the first organized choir of the church itself to the installation of the Kilgore Organ in the sanctuary and now into the 21st century with new direction and leadership. 

 

This rich history of making a joyful noise unto the Lord, however, started and continues with people who are just willing to SING! Anyone can join the choir! Experience helpful but not needed. The Lord our Savior hears the sounds of a novice and professional the same.

 

Music Director, Randy Ashley, and accompanist, Hank Tharpe, are local professionals in music education. Their experience and genuine passion for making that 'joyful noise unto the Lord' is infectious and creates a wonderful setting of fun and learning within the realm of musical performance! We are truly blessed to have them.
