2022 First Responder's Meal
Once again FUMC San Benito extended a huge thank you to all the community First Responder's with an old-school, home-cooked Thanksgiving meal. A huge thank you to all the public servants able to attend this year and enjoy the food and fellowship. On behalf of the entire congregation, we thank you for all you do day in and day out! We would also like to thank all those that participated in the planning, preparation, cooking and serving of the meal.
Annual First Responder Thanksgiving Meal- 2021
For over seven years, FUMCSB has extended a thank you to our community's First Responders with a Thanksgiving Meal. This year was no different, even in the midst of the Covid 19 precautions. It was a drive-thru version of what is usually a sit-down meal but it got done. The following gallery shows just a glimpse of all the 'going on' during that Thursday. You'll see some of our local City Administration, Fire and Police Dept., County Constable, County Sheriff, EMS staff and our dedicated church member-volunteers. Thank you to all involved in the prep, cooking, delivery and clean-up and also to our photographer for the images, Debra Waterson.
